Macstories berichtet, dass die Zahl der nur auf dem iPad-lauffähigen Apps die Marke von 10.000 überschritten hat. Die iPad-only Apps sind damit zwar immer noch sehr wenig, man erkennt da aber einen deutlichen Trend: Es kommen rein rechnerisch jeden Tag etwa 200 neue Apps hinzu. Ohne die Kategorie Games sind derzeit 78% aller Apps kostenpflichtig.
